Whitney De Agostini is a transactional attorney with experience representing California public entities and private companies. Ms. De Agostini is a member in good standing of the California State Bar, and also a member of the American Bar Association.
Earlier in her career at Best, Best & Krieger LLP, Ms. De Agostini was a member of the Special Districts and Environmental Practice Groups, and assisted in representing water, transportation, wastewater and hospital districts, as well as cities, and counties; she worked closely with clients avoiding litigation and presented client interests at public hearings.
Ms. De Agostini gained experience in the areas of public agency governance, legislative and policy matters, public contracts, water and property rights, the interplay between State, Federal and American Indian Governments, and navigating state and federal environmental regulations. She has also assisted in representing private companies in IP litigation, malpractice suits and business disputes.
Currently, Ms. De Agostini works closely with companies and individuals navigating regulatory agency investigations, including those by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and state regulatory agencies across the nation. She is experienced in assisting businesses—large and small—with complying with blue sky laws, registration requirements, fundraising regulations and acting as a liaison to streamline and expedite federal and state inquiries.
Ms. De Agostini is a former pediatric Registered Nurse with substantial experience in pediatric ICU and pediatric oncology populations. She has enjoyed assisting child-focused NGOs, and working with veterans from the Special Operations community. She loves scuba-diving, Mexican popsicles, and being in the mountains with her kids.
